FFXIclopedia Historical Viewer by jrhunt223

FFXIclopedia Historical Viewer lets you browse FFXIclopedia using article revisions from before a historical cutoff date you choose.
By default, the extension uses the FFXI historical wiki data (Phoenix XI) preset with a cutoff of November 19, 2007, making it useful for researching Final Fantasy XI as it existed during earlier eras.
Features include:
• User-selectable historical cutoff date
• November 19, 2007 Phoenix XI default preset
• Automatic historical revision lookup
• Historical navigation when following FFXIclopedia links
• Revision date and cutoff indicator
• Oldest-available-revision fallback when no page existed before the selected era
• Clear warning when displayed data falls outside the selected historical era
• Reminder to sign in to FFXIclopedia/Fandom because some historical revisions may be restricted for logged-out users
• Local revision caching for faster browsing
• No analytics, advertising, tracking, or personal-data collection
The extension operates only on FFXIclopedia and uses FFXIclopedia’s own MediaWiki API to identify the appropriate historical article revision.
FFXIclopedia Historical Viewer is an unofficial community utility and is not affiliated with Square Enix, Fandom, or the FFXIclopedia operators.
