FBSave - Download Video Facebook by ahihi

FBSave moves the download controls out of the Facebook page and into the browser side panel. The panel lists every rendition the page exposes, with its format, so you decide the file size before anything is fetched - then you carry on scrolling while the save happens beside the feed rather than on top of it.

1. Install FBSave and open Facebook in Firefox.
2. Open the side panel, or click the FBSave button shown on a post.
3. Read the rendition list and pick the format and size you want.
4. Press save and keep scrolling; the finished file lands in your downloads folder.

FBSave runs locally in your browser and sends no user data to any server. There is no account, no sign-up, no tracking and no analytics. Audio and video merging is done on your own machine by the bundled ffmpeg WebAssembly module, so no media is ever uploaded anywhere for processing, and your preferences stay in local browser storage.
