2026 risk intelligence
Flags extensions that were silently upgraded from Manifest V2 (the legacy system browsers have been phasing out) — these often arrive with wider permissions than the original. Warns about extensions with the same broad permissions as known malicious ones.

Re: Unsafe assignment to innerHTML (6 warnings)
All innerHTML assignments use hardcoded template strings or values passed through escapeHtml(). No unsanitized user input, extension name, URL, or remote data is ever concatenated into innerHTML.
Re: management.uninstall is not supported
The uninstall feature is optional. On Firefox, the API is unavailable; the code path is only triggered from a user-initiated button. No crash occurs.
