About this extension
VibeVoice Reader reads the article on a page, a selection, or any block you click on, highlighting the sentence being spoken. Voices and models are switchable while reading, speed changes keep the pitch, and pages or sentence ranges can be exported as MP3 or WAV.
Audio is generated by a small local server (open source, same project) that runs Microsoft's VibeVoice models, Kokoro, Qwen3-TTS or MOSS-TTS on your computer. Nothing leaves your machine. Without the server the extension only shows "server unreachable".
This project is not affiliated with Microsoft; VibeVoice is the name of their open model family.
