Bring your AI Dungeon adventures to life with character portraits, location backgrounds, local narration, and convenient Story Card tools.

Visual Novel Mode
- Read your adventure with character portraits and a dialogue overlay.
- Highlight the active speaker and dim the other characters.
- Track locations automatically or select a background manually.
- Use Do, Say, Story, Retry, and retry history directly from the reader.
- Resume your saved reading position or jump to a specific page.
- Customize background blur, character glow, and optional story-formatting instructions.

Local narration
- Listen with a male or female voice.
- Adjust generation quality, pitch, and the number of upcoming lines prepared in advance.
- Preview your voice settings before reading.
- Generate speech locally on your computer, without sending story text to a remote speech service.

Standard narration works without a companion application. Optional multithreaded acceleration in Firefox requires the Windows x64 TTS Helper and an additional engine tab. The helper's installer is linked in the extension settings. Voice models require an initial download and are cached for reuse.

Story Cards and customization
- Highlight character and location names with inline icons and portraits.
- Type @ to insert Story Card names into your actions.
- Import, export, and switch between card sets.
- Check GitHub-hosted card sets for updates.
- Add audio effects and customize text formatting.
- Access frequent actions through a floating menu with an optional compact layout.

Requires AI Dungeon. Available visuals depend on your configured cards and images.
