About this extension

DataMinimal Privacy Helper connects the DataMinimal web app to supported provider pages so you can complete privacy work with clear, reviewable steps.

For supported career and social accounts, the helper opens a guided checklist beside the provider. You sign in directly, make every setting or account change yourself, and verify the saved state before recording the review in DataMinimal. The helper does not read or change those provider settings.

For facial-recognition HTTPS forms, the helper fills reviewed routine text fields from saved Personal Data. Face photos and the redacted ID are edited and previewed only in an extension-owned page. The website receives counts and readiness, never image bytes. Files are held in trusted session-only storage and clear when the browser closes, on sign-out or account change, within seven days of first loading, or sooner when all started facial requests are verified complete. An upgrade moves a valid legacy bundle into session storage and removes its old persistent copy before allowing access. Only the file types declared by the current provider route can be attached, after checking the exact current revision. Starting the supported Face Search AI and ProFaceFinder email requests authorizes the helper to send the selected photos and redacted ID directly to DataMinimal’s fixed submission endpoint using a short-lived, single-use capability; the website does not relay files. Processed linked email replies and repeated attachments are scheduled for deletion when all started facial requests are verified complete, or by 30 days from request start. Raw unmatched email expires separately from receipt; cleanup retries are asynchronous. Backups and provider copies have separate retention. Deleting helper files cannot recall provider copies. If you do not load them, those uploads stay manual on the provider site. Search-first, photo-only, email, and challenge routes stay a provider-specific checklist. DataMinimal does not claim the provider has approved the request or removed data.

The helper selects declared required acknowledgments on reviewed request forms, including some providers' consent and terms checkboxes, and declines optional cookies on Lenso's opt-out page. Optional permissions and provider-only factual attestations, such as confirming your age, stay with the customer. The extension never automates login, passwords, security codes, CAPTCHA, unredacted identity-document uploads, purchases, posts, unrelated messages, or account deletion. It loads no remote code or advertising and requests access only to exact supported provider origins. A DataMinimal account is required. Availability varies by provider, jurisdiction, account state, and current provider interface.
