About this extension

Companion for Goofish makes goofish.com (Xianyu / 闲鱼) usable if you don't read Chinese, without hiding the original.

Dark mode. Goofish's own components are restyled rather than inverted, so photos look right.
Glossary. Conditions (99新, 九成新), shipping terms (包邮), seller statistics and slang (懂的都懂, 不刀) are explained offline.
Translation. Descriptions and titles can be translated by a provider you choose: free MyMemory, your own AI model (including a local Ollama), or Firefox's on-device model. None is on by default.
English search. Type English and get the Chinese terms sellers actually use, e.g. "used sony wh-1000xm5 headphones" → 索尼 WH-1000XM5 耳机. Save searches you repeat.
Prices. ≈ € / $ / £ / zł next to every ¥ price, with daily central-bank rates.
Listing checks. Flags new accounts, sellers with no sales, low ratings and replica wording (高仿, 1:1, 纯原, 原单…), and shows how the price compares with similar listings on the page. Not a verdict, just things worth a second look.
Images. Full-size originals with zoom, a filmstrip and keyboard navigation.
Calmer sign-in prompts. The login pop-up that appears while you browse is tucked away, and it stays available when you actually want to chat or buy. Nothing behind a login is unlocked.

Privacy: no account, no analytics, no server of its own. Page text is only sent to a translation provider if you pick one, and Firefox asks for your consent first.
