Codex Bridge 是非官方学生实验项目。作者不运营数据收集服务器，不内置广告或分析服务。

扩展按已连接的 MCP 客户端请求，读取标签页标题与网址、网页文字和结构、操作结果，以及主动请求的可见页面截图。这些数据通过 Firefox Native Messaging 和当前 Windows 用户的本地命名管道传给 Codex。本地转交也是数据传输，因此安装时声明浏览活动、网页内容和网页活动权限。

Codex 可能把工具结果发送到用户配置的 OpenAI 或其他 AI 服务；其保存、处理和训练规则取决于该服务及用户设置。本项目不能保证页面数据始终留在本机。页面文字或截图可能包含个人信息、通信、账号或其他敏感内容；不要在敏感页面启用自动操作。快照省略输入值，不代表截图或页面正文已全面脱敏。

扩展只在本地保存暂停状态。工具栏“暂停控制”阻止后续读取和操作；已发出的操作可能已生效。关闭扩展、撤销网站权限或移除 MCP 连接可停止使用。Codex 或下游服务保存的记录需在相应服务中管理。

This unofficial student project has no developer-operated collection server, ads or analytics. On requests from the connected MCP client, it passes tab URLs/titles, website content, action results and requested screenshots to the local Codex companion. Codex may forward these results to the configured AI provider. Provider retention and training settings apply; data is not guaranteed to remain on-device. Visible personal information may be included. Pause or disable the extension to stop future access. Do not submit private page contents in public issue reports.
