Clean Lift turns any on-screen conversation into a plain text file you own.

Open a chat, click the Clean Lift button, and it scrolls the conversation from
the very top to the very bottom, collecting every message as it goes. A moment
later a .txt file lands in your downloads folder.

WHY IT WORKS ALMOST ANYWHERE
Clean Lift reads the page itself rather than any particular service's API. It
looks for the scrolling conversation region, so it is not tied to one assistant
or one website. If you can read it on screen, it can usually save it.

It also handles conversations that drop older messages out of the page as you
scroll. Text is collected as it goes and overlapping lines are removed, so
nothing is duplicated and nothing earlier is lost.

A LINK INDEX, IN ORDER
Optionally, every link mentioned in the conversation is listed at the end of the
file in the order it appeared, so you can find that one source again.

IN YOUR LANGUAGE
The interface is available in English, Portuguese and French and follows your
browser's language automatically. You can change it at any time.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no servers, no analytics. The file is assembled inside your browser
and saved straight to your device. Clean Lift runs only when you click its
button or press the keyboard shortcut - never in the background, and never on
pages you simply visit. It requests no access to any website in advance.

HOW TO USE
1. Open a page with a scrollable conversation.
2. Click the Clean Lift button, or press Ctrl+Shift+E.
3. Wait for the scroll to finish. Your .txt file appears in Downloads.

If Ctrl+Shift+E is taken on your system, change it under about:addons >
gear icon > Manage Extension Shortcuts.
