Catalyst by Moonlightclarity

Catalyst is a local-first workspace for reading, organizing, and analyzing information.

Open PDFs from your computer, annotate them, build an editable outline of your notes, and work through a catalog of structured analytical methods without leaving Firefox.

Catalyst is designed to keep the reading and reasoning process in one place rather than splitting it across a PDF reader, notes app, and separate analysis tools.

Features include:

• Local PDF reading and annotation
• Editable outline-based notes
• Structured analytical methods and custom methods
• Portable Catalyst XML sessions
• Export to PDF, DOCX, and RTF
• No account required
• No browsing or website-access permissions
• No collection or transmission of your documents or workspace data

Catalyst runs locally inside Firefox. Your PDFs, annotations, notes, methods, and session data remain on your device unless you explicitly export a file.

Catalyst is open source and licensed under the Apache License 2.0.
