About this extension

BuyHub is a search engine for collectors and resellers that covers more than 100 marketplaces worldwide, such as eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Mercari and Depop.

With the extension installed, BuyHub goes through every marketplace over your own connection, exactly as you would. Pages load faster, each marketplace's home page shows you the recommendations it has picked for you, and it unlocks what some marketplaces only show to a signed-in user — seller profiles on Facebook Marketplace, for instance.

FEATURES
· Search more than 100 marketplaces worldwide from a single interface you can tune down to the last detail to fit the way you work.

· Radars that keep searching for you around the clock and tell you the moment something matching is listed, with a notification in your browser and on your phone, so you never miss out.

· Save searches on the main marketplaces and open them with one click from the BuyHub extension or its toolbar: checking what is new has never been quicker.

· Translate the results of every marketplace in the world into your language, with currency conversion into your own so you can judge the prices at a glance.

· Set searches up your way: several search terms at once, across several marketplaces at the same time. That saves you dozens of hours a week of repeating the same search, results come in sooner, and duplicates between similar terms are dropped.

· Advanced search filters that the marketplaces do not offer: BuyHub lets you add positive and negative keywords and filter by the seller's country or by when an item was listed.

· Auction alarms: follow the auctions you care about and set an alarm so BuyHub warns you hours or minutes before they end. You choose the schedule and how it reaches you, and you can set a maximum price that switches the alarm off once it is passed.

THE BUYHUB BAR
You can optionally turn on a bar that lets you search any marketplace in seconds and reach your radars and saved searches. It sits at the top of every page and can be turned off at any time; you can also have it show up next to a page of your own when you open a new tab in your browser.

PRIVACY
BuyHub never asks for or stores your marketplace passwords: it relies on the session you already have open in your browser, the request leaves from there and only the result comes back to the page. That session leaves your computer in one case only: if you choose to share it with your other devices to use the same account in the mobile app. It is then stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and you can revoke it whenever you want under "Linked accounts". The extension does not look at the pages you visit on your own, shows no ads and sells no data. Its only purpose is to make searching the supported marketplaces easier — searching straight from the user's own browser — and to give quick access to tools such as saved searches, radars and auction alarms.

ACCOUNT AND SUBSCRIPTION
The extension works alongside BuyHub.app and needs an account and a paid subscription. There is a free plan that includes searching eBay and Catawiki; the rest of the marketplaces, the radars, the price alerts and the auction alarms come with a subscription.
