Bugzilla Ticket Monitor by Razganariel

Monitor any Bugzilla instance and get alerted in real time when new or modified tickets match your criteria. Full text search filters, severity counters, toast and sound notifications, light/dark theme, and 6 languages.

This extension polls the REST API of a Bugzilla instance that the user configures. There is no remote code, tracking, or third-party network traffic: the only requests go to the user's own Bugzilla server.

A content script (contentScript.js) is registered at runtime on the configured origin only, to allow session-based authentication (scripting API in MV3, contentScripts in MV2).

Dynamic values rendered in popup.js/options.js are always escaped through esc() (textContent round-trip); the innerHTML warnings are safe.

A custom notification sound, if set, is loaded via an <audio> element only — it is never executed or stored.

To test: install, open options, enter a Bugzilla (5.0.6+) URL, adjust criteria, click "Test search" and "Test notification".
