All channel video indexing, fuzzy search matching, and caching are performed entirely locally within your browser.
Local Storage (chrome.storage.local):
The extension stores public video titles, thumbnails, view counts, and timestamps for visited YouTube channels locally on your machine to provide instant search-as-you-type. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time via the extension settings or browser settings.
Authentication Credentials:
By default, the extension queries public YouTube channel data without user credentials. If you opt into searching members-only content, your existing YouTube session cookies remain entirely within your browser and are never inspected, stored, or sent to any third party.
