The AWSCost extension puts a monthly price next to each instance in the EC2 console. On those pages
it reads the instance table in your browser - instance type, usage operation, tenancy, lifecycle,
state and public IPv4 address - and uses them to look up a price. None of it leaves your browser.

It needs no sign-in and no AWS keys, and it makes no calls to AWS on your behalf. It works on EC2
pages in the AWS console and nowhere else.

Once a day it asks AWSCost's server for the latest price list. The request carries the region you
are looking at and the version of the extension you have, and nothing else. We do not record who
asked: no IP address, no identifier, no record of the request at all.

The price list is kept in your browser's extension storage. Removing the extension removes it.

The price needs a few columns the console hides by default. Click "click to show price" and the
extension turns them on in the table's own settings. It changes nothing else.
