Privacy policy of the Anime-Regal browser extension

Anime-Regal is the companion extension for anime-regal.de. It only runs on crunchyroll.com, animationdigitalnetwork.com, animationdigitalnetwork.fr and anime-regal.de.

What it sends, and only to anime-regal.de
- Watched episodes: series, episode number and title, the address of the episode page, date and time, and how far you watched. This fills your shelf.
- Release calendar: the episodes listed in the simulcast calendars of Crunchyroll and ADN, and which of them Crunchyroll marks as watched. This shows new episodes on your shelf.
- Account key: when you connect the extension on anime-regal.de, the site gives it a key. The extension stores it, sends it with every report and uses it to sign you in on the site. It never asks for a password.
- A random device ID, so that your devices can be told apart.
- Your comfort settings, only if you allow it. In Firefox this is the optional "technical and interaction data" permission, which you can change at any time under about:addons.

Without a connected account, the extension reports nothing and only downloads the current page rules from anime-regal.de. The comfort features work locally in your browser.

What it does not do
It does not read names, email addresses or passwords, it does not record keystrokes or mouse movements, and it does not read any other website. Nothing is sold or passed on to third parties.

Where the data goes
The data is stored with your account on anime-regal.de, hosted in Germany. Who can see your shelf and watch times depends on your own settings there, and you can delete your account at any time.
