Private Notes
Private notes are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and are not visible to AnchorNotes, your employer, or any third party.

Admin Notes, Broadcasts, and Guides
Content created by administrators (shared team notes, broadcast messages, page guides) is stored in a secured database and shared exclusively within that company's own isolated data space. Other AnchorNotes customers have no access to this content.

Usage Insight
Usage statistics visible to administrators consist solely of anonymous counters (how often a field was annotated) — never note content or personal identifiers.

License Validation
When activating a license key, it is transmitted to our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy) for verification. No further personal data is shared with third parties.
