Clearpage blocks ads and trackers and removes the clutter that network blocking misses, without hiding the article you came to read.

• Ad and tracker blocking with built-in EasyList and EasyPrivacy rules (nothing downloaded at runtime)
• Removes floating video players, sponsored recommendation widgets (Taboola, Outbrain and similar), labelled advertorials and full-page interstitial ads
• Strips tracking parameters (utm_*, fbclid, gclid) from page addresses
• Element picker: right-click → "Hide an element on this page…"
• One-click undo: "Show what was hidden" outlines everything removed; click to keep it
• Your own filters (site##selector, ||host^), per-site pause, per-feature switches, backup/export
• Fast: CSS-first hiding and scans limited to changed parts of the page

Optional and off by default:
• AI check for uncertain news cards (bring your own TypeSafe API key; only on sites you allowlist; never on banking, payment, email or login pages)
• Ad-click obfuscation: cookieless background visits to ad links, with a daily cap
