How do I change the Arabic font on web pages?
You don't have to do anything: the extension applies Noto Naskh Arabic to all the Arabic text on the page. If you switch it off, the original font comes back.

Why not just use the browser zoom?
Zoom enlarges everything: menus, images and the text you can already read fine. Readable Arabic enlarges only the Arabic and gives it a clearer typeface, so the page stays where it is.

Does it change the text?
No. The words are the same; only how they look changes. You can copy, search and translate the text as usual.

Can I see the short vowels (harakat)?
Yes. Short vowels, shadda and tanwin are enlarged along with the letters, so they are easier to tell apart.

Does it work with Persian, Urdu or Kurdish?
